Local office of national publisher in immediate need of an experienced Senior Sales Tax Accountant to join their team asap!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in all areas of sale & use tax audit
- Handling of tax returns
- Assist with Journal entries and monthly GL account reconciliations
- Research and assist with correction of sales tax issues.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Minimum 3 years general accounting experience required
- Experience performing tax return preparation and filing
LOCATION: Norfolk, VA
SALARY: Up to $82k based on experience
HOURS: 8 hour shift starting as early as 7:30AM. 2 days on site/3 days remote work from home.
