THIS IS A TEMP TO HIRE POSITION IN VIRGINIA BEACH, VA

Local Virginia Beach church in need of an experienced Office Administrator to manage the daily operations of the church. 

Responsibilities:

  • Handle prep and production of  the weekly worship bulletin, online newsletter and annual report.
  • Manage the office and records including but not limited to the church calendar, inventory, membership records and additional files. 
  • Assist outside vendors such as HVAC, Janitorial, etc. with scheduling and performance of maintenance and repairs.  
  • Work closely with the Treasurer to handle receiving and distributing of bills for verification, posting completed payment requests, mailing and filing checks, maintaining paid invoice files and posting receipts and disbursements into church financial software. 
  • Serve as the in-person and telephone receptionist and provide admin support to the Pastor, church staff and session. 

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of MS 365 (Word, Excel and Outlook and PowerPoint), Publisher and Google
  • High School Graduate
  • 2+ yrs of Admin experience within an office setting.

HOURS: 9AM –  5PM Monday through Friday 1 hour for lunch (35 hours min weekly)

SALARY: $14 – $15 per hour based on experience
